ABSTRACT ART
Abstract art has been the matter of interest for me since times immemorial.
Greatly interested in colouring since the age of 3, I finally decided to put up my knowledge for others to know, the secret behind the colouration.
The alongside project had been made during my final summer vacations, 2012, for the classroom board decoration purpose at Oxford Senior Secondary School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi.
Now how did I do it, is what I am gonna tell you all today:
- First of all, draw a rough outline of what type of abstract figure you want.
- Then, colour using lighter tone in any medium you feel you are best at (I used crayons for the purpose)
- Shade using the darker tones at areas where you can imagine tan or shadow.
- Add a variety of colours, contrast and mix and match.
- Use lighter tones, and then gradually sink towards the darker one for a shady effect.
